Healing of a Healer

Healers are not invincible are just as broken are just as wounded

Healers choose open wounds instead of soggy bandaids and cover-up broken hearts instead of plastic ones falling on concrete instead of cushions We all break, time and time again. It is not what or how many scars you have, it is what those scars represent.

Tell me, do you wear your scar tissue as a badge of honor or mark of shame? Healers observe the trickling flows of blood stare into their deep cuts under a lens allow full immersion into the pain One would argue this seemingly masochistic behavior includes an element of sick pleasure I would argue yes. It is the sick pleasure to understand pain and hurt It is the thirst for experiential wisdom through trauma

Simply, to learn how to heal others
